We are currently seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor with specialised experience in Ductwork to join our team in London. The successful candidate will play a key role in the estimation, cost management, and procurement processes for our ductwork projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently and cost-effectively.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for ductwork projects, including materials, labor, and equipment costs.
* Conduct thorough cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project budgets.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to develop cost-effective solutions and strategies.
* Review project specifications and drawings to identify potential cost savings and value engineering opportunities.
* Monitor project costs throughout the construction process, identifying and addressing any budgetary issues or variances.
* Prepare and negotiate subcontractor agreements and manage the procurement process for ductwork materials and services.
* Track and report on project financial performance, including budget vs. actual costs, change orders, and variations.
* Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on cost-related matters to project stakeholders
