You will be working within my clients Power Networks team as a P&C commissioning engineer to oversee the installation and commissioning stages of projects and to resolve technical issues at sites.
You will enjoy trouble-shooting and have a can-do attitude to resolve issues.
Examples of the types of work you may be involved in:
Commissioning the protection and control aspects of different projects.
Coordinating with clients, engineers, sub-contractors and suppliers as required.
Attending site visits, FAT and SAT as required.
What you can bring:
In addition to strong communication and problem-solving skills, key attributes include
HND or degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualifications and experience.
Experience in commissioning P&C of substations in the UK (NG and/ or SSE).
BP141 or equivalent authorised or ability to do so.
A high adherence to safety and quality regulations.
Flexibility to travel to client sites as required.
Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
Details:
Location - Pref Birmingham or Glasgow but could be flexible
Hours - 40 per week over 5 days
IR35 - Inside
Duration - 6 months
