Job Description: School Tutor
Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and qualified teaching specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a Level 3 teaching qualification or PGCE, coupled with a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience. The role primarily involves working with older pupils aged 13-16 years old, both in person and through virtual sessions. Flexibility, adaptability, and a passion for education are essential qualities for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions to pupils aged 13-16 years old.
* Plan and prepare educational materials and resources in accordance with curriculum guidelines.
* Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
* Collaborate with colleagues and school staff to enhance the educational experience for pupils.
* Maintain accurate records of pupil attendance, performance, and any relevant administrative tasks.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Minimum of a Level 3 teaching qualification or PGCE.
* At least 3 years of teaching experience, preferably with older pupils.
* Demonstrated understanding and acceptance of the term-time nature of the work, with no guaranteed hours.
* Ability to commute to assigned locations (Dudley, Telford, and Coventry) or willingness to do so.
* Comfortable conducting both in-person and virtual teaching sessions.
* Availability to work a minimum of 3 days per week, with the potential to work more hours as needed.

* Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or willingness to undergo one.
Working Hours and Location:
* 20-30 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours if desired.
* Locations include Dudley, Telford, and Coventry, with flexibility to choose preferred assignments
