ARE YOU A QUALITY INSPECTOR WITH A BACKGROUND IN A FOUNDRY ENVIRONMENT?
FOUNDRY QUALITY INSPECTOR required for a specialist manufacturer who are well established in their industry. They are renowned for producing high quality products for a wide range of sectors.
The role would QUALITY INSPECTORS from a foundry, castings or metallurgical background. Applicants will ideally have experience working in a ductile iron or steel environment. You must have experience using verniers, calipers, gauges, jigs and other measurement techniques. The role requires strong attention to detail and problem solving skills.
Reporting to the Quality Lead, you will be responsible for inspecting cast ductile iron and steel castings for turbo/manifold and general engineering sectors. You will approve or reject both raw and machined castings in accordance with quality standards. You will inspect and verify product quality using visual and dimensional inspection methods. You will work to SOPS and ensure all inspection records/reports are updated for traceability and compliance of product. You will support with customer returns process by evaluating product quality of defects prior to acceptance. You will work closely with the quality and technical teams on site.

*Working closely with the quality and technical team on site
