Job Duties:
Supporting classroom activities under the direction of the teacher
Assisting with the implementation of lesson plans and educational activities
Providing one-to-one support to students as needed
Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Assisting with student assessments and record-keeping
Supervising students during break times and outings
Required Qualifications:
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Relevant experience working with children in an educational setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Experience:
Experience working with children in an educational setting
Knowledge and Skills:
Understanding of child development and learning processes
Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs
Basic knowledge of educational practises and policies
Preferred Qualifications:
Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
First Aid certification
Working Conditions:
Work primarily takes place within a school setting
May involve some physical activity such as assisting with student mobility
Standard working hours with occasional requirement for overtime
