What will you be doing?

The Finance Shared Services Manager will ensure that customer debt is collected on time and efficiently and that purchase invoices are processed and paid accurately and timely. The role requires an experienced leader and manager of people, someone who can improve and establish process as well as monitor and ensure adherence, and someone who can build strong relationships across the business as well as with our customers and suppliers.

Deliver best in class credit control processes and procedures ensuring debt is collected in a timely manner and any bad debt risk and late payments are minimised. Including setting appropriate credit limits for customers.
Deliver best in class purchase ledger processes and procedures ensuring invoices are paid accurately and timely.
Maintain an accurate and reconciled sales and purchase ledger.
Ensure that evolving technical requirements are appropriately recorded, process-mapped and agreed with stakeholders, to ensure continued compliance.
Apply subject-specific technical expertise, insight, initiative, and judgement to ensure the highest standards of enquiry resolution and process completion are achieved.
Run Debt Management meetings with stakeholders across the organisation, clearly articulating current debtor positions and actions being taken to resolve or mitigate risks and issues.
Review current sales and purchase ledger processes and procedures identifying and delivering opportunities to improve, always ensuring they are fit for purpose. What skills do we need?

Purchase and Sales Ledger Managerial experience.
Accountancy qualifications will be deemed an advantage and would be supported if successful.
Process improvement experience.
Excel systems capability.What's on offer?
