Utilities One is looking for Ground Hand to join us in the Alabama market.
We offer you the chance to use your aerial construction and maintenance skills in fast-paced, challenging environments while working with one of America's fastest-growing construction firms.
Responsibilities:
Install aerial & underground telecommunications cabling, including fiber optics;
Undertake pole removal & pole transfers, and set & install new aerial cables;
Safely operate specific equipment and machinery;
Operate hydraulic aerial lifts and ladders mounted to trucks;
Keep a detailed record of work activity;
Travel to different job sites within the market.
Requirements
A valid and unrestricted Driver's License is a must;
Previous Cable Placement experience preferred;
Ability to travel to different job sites frequently;
Ability to lift around 50 pounds, safely climb ladders, and work in all weather conditions.
