Structured Cabling Engineer - Mansfield - Immediate - Permanent role - £28,000 - £30,000 PA (depending on experience) ****
My client has experience working with high-level security and providing infrastructure for mission critical environments, as well as large scale public events. Due to a recent expansion, my client is looking for a Data Cabling Engineer to join their team.
Job Specification
Location: Mansfield (with National Travel on a weekly basis)
Pay: Negotiable depending on skills, qualifications & experience.
Overtime rate at time and a third; weekend cover rate at time and a half.

Responsibilities:
* Full voice and data installations including 1st and 2nd fixing cabling throughout a range of sites.
* Working across established and new sites
* Installation of containments
* Installation of fibre cable
* Completing and maintaining company and client paperwork
* Installation and termination of Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a etc.
* Fault finding and reporting on cabling issues and various communication systems
Candidate Specification
Desirable Requirements
Cat6 experience
IPAF and PASMA
Be willing to travel within the UK and complete some out of hours work
Essential Requirements
Full UK Driver’s License
Previous Data Cabling Experience, including testing and using fluke test equipment
Experience in installation comms and cabinets
Experience with fault finding and rectifying.
Be able to liaise with internal and external personnel and have strong communication skills
CSCS Card
Must be able to pass a DBS Check for site clearance at MOD locations
