Assembly Operative
£22,500 - £25,000 Plus Bonus & Excellent Benefits
The Company
My client is a world leading manufacturer of specialist equipment for supply to multiple industries as part of a global manufacturing operation.
Due to continued growth and expansion, they have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Assembly Operative in a multi-functional role that supports the production objectives.
The Role
Reporting to the Team Leader, the Assembly Operative will be required to assemble and test according to the relevant work instructions, then ensure the correct process is followed for timely and accurate despatch.
This will also include:
* Documentation of all appropriate information (errors, defects, product details etc.)
* Managing non-conformance
* Ensuring correct picking & packaging
* Correct following of processes and procedures
* Detailed inspection
* Inventory control
* Certification
* Compliance to company Health & Safety
* Attention to detail.
The Candidate
The ideal Assembly Operative appointed to this role will have experience gained within an engineering or manufacturing environment, that also includes assembly, testing, certification, and general despatch duties.
Good communication skills, organisation skills and the ability to work as part of a team is key.
Knowledge of mechanical or electrical assembly would be advantageous.
The Benefits
In return the appointed Assembly Operative will receive the full training for the role and a salary of up to £25,000 (plus bonus) and an attractive benefits package that includes 26 annual leave days (plus Bank Holidays), 5% Pension and Medical Cover.
