Role is hybrid with 3 days per week in High Wycombe
To be considered for this role you will need previous Protein or Dairy procurement experience.
Due to continued growth as part of an exciting period of transformation we are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager for a leading global brand.
The purpose of this role is to develop and deliver a functional strategic sourcing strategy for the protein category (Fish, Dairy & Meat Alternatives), to standardise and embed processes, create value, and deliver savings across EMEA.
You will be a strategic thinker, that can stand back and develop category strategies that are centred around the businesses requirements and someone who can work with, understand and influence stakeholders to unlock value through the supply and value chain.
Key Responsibilities:
* Being the go-to person across the business for category knowledge
* Developing and implementing strategic sourcing strategies with clear action plans, for key categories across the regions
* Proactively explore opportunities to drive sustainable cost out, through the entire supply chain
* Working with the Supplier Performance Management team to review, improve and continuously drive performance around OTIF
* Working with key strategic suppliers and internal cross functional teams to unlock value through the supply chain
* Developing contingency plans to avoid, mitigate or face into the various risks across the categories & regions
* Working with the Centre of Excellence teams, to continuously drive best practise into your day to day, challenging the status quo
Skills & Experience:
* Experience of international and cross-cultural working
* Depth of experience in the procurement of food proteins
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
* Strong analytical, commercial and negotiation skills
* Motivated, self-starter
* Excellent project management skills
* Confident presentation skills
* Experience of working with Source to Contract tools
