Architectural Technologist

We are currently on the lookout for an Architectural Technologist to join a multi-disciplinary award-winning Architectural Practice based in Guildford. This is an excellent opportunity for an Architectural Technologist to develop their career within an ambitious team working on a variety of exciting high-end Office, Retail and commercial project.

Architectural Technologist Position Overview

Contribute to planning applications and other regulatory application procedures
Identify the surveys required before work can commence, ensuring they're undertaken and their results are fed into the project
Work alongside Senior members of staff
work on bespoke high-end Office, Retail and commercial projects across all RIBA stages
Produce detailed technical construction information on the project
Prepare and develop drawings, models and images, and other documents related to design
Report to the directors on the progress of projects
Prepare and present design proposals using AutoCAD/Revit and other design software, as well as traditional drawing methods
Liaise with appropriate authorities when producing documentation for statutory approval Architectural Technologist Position Requirements

Living within commutable distance of Guildford
Excellent Revit & AutoCAD knowledge
Motivated & team player
Experience in the Commercial or Retail sectors (Advantageous)
Working knowledge of Building Regulations and the Planning Permission Process
Well Rounded Experience & Knowledge within the Architectural & Construction Industry
Minimum of 3 year's professional working experience in a UK practice
Able to demonstrate a project that you have worked on through all RIBA stages
Confident in working through detailed design, technical design, and delivery stages of projects
Technically minded and a good eye for bespoke detailing Architectural Technologist Position Remuneration

Competitive salary (£28,000 - £36,000 DOE)
