Small, successful Architecture firm seeks a highly experienced Architectural Technologist to join their dynamic & friendly team based in Reading.
This reputable practice specialises in a variety of projects that includes residential, commercial and conservation work across the country - offering the incoming Architectural Technologist an abundance of interesting projects to really get stuck into.
The ideal Architectural Technologist will come with extensive and demonstrable experience within the UK Architecture industry whilst possessing a good sense of design and attention to detail. You will be trusted to take on a Technical Lead role from the very beginning which will include client liaison and site visits. As such, a talented Architectural Technologist who has previously operated at a senior level and has the ability to bring design briefs to life while upholding the highest standards will be highly sought after.
Architectural Technologist Requirements:
Degree in Architectural Technology or relevant discipline
MCIAT accreditation - highly desirable
Minimum of 15 years' experience with an established understanding of UK Planning and Building Regulations
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit and 3D Modelling software
Demonstrable experience within a variety of sectors and project types in the residential and commercial sectors
Ability to review technical documentation to ensure UK compliance and industry regulations are fully met
Strong communication skills

A competitive salary is on offer, likely to be in the range of £45k-£50k, fully dependent on experience.
