Role:
ONE Consulting has been engaged to recruit an Electronics Design Engineer/Senior Electronics Design Engineer for a technology company, based in Gloucestershire.
The role is ideal for an electronics/hardware/robotics engineer with good experience and/or academic knowledge in electronics disciplines.
Design activities will be varied, requiring individuals who have either a broad electronics design skillset and/or possess the ability to develop a broad skillset in electronics design, including PCB layout.
Requirements, Skills & Experience:
* Working within a specialised multi-skilled engineering team, the role involves undertaking electronics design engineering, including, power supplies and low-power microcontrollers, through to high-speed processors.
* The individual will play a key role in the design and development of new systems, with more experienced engineers leading the design process, from concept through to delivery.
* The role involves undertake new product development work by providing ideas and transforming them into physical, working solutions.
* Able to specify appropriate PCB technology from suppliers to meet requirements, using Altium designer for schematic entry and PCB layout.
* An ability to produce clear and concise technical documentation is essential, such as technical reports for customers or documenting ongoing technical developments.
Salary and Benefits:
* Salary c£40k - £65k p/a DOE, plus benefits.
Additional:
* The position is subject to the holding/obtaining of UK security clearance.
