Raw Material Planner

Job Title: Raw material Planner
Location: Newent
Pay Rate: £25000-£28000 per annum ( DOE )
Contract: Temp to perm
gap-personnel are currently recruiting for a temp to perm role of Raw Material Planner, for one of the growing manufacturers of frozen fruits in Newent.
As a Raw Material Planner you will be responsible for analysing and preparing documents needed for production, liaising with stores, or creating sales orders and purchase orders on Sage.
Main Duties and responsibilities:
* Ensure all materials needed to fulfil productions plans are on-site and ready to be used – labels, pallets, shrink wrap, boxes.
* Data analysis and decision making to support raw material supply and finished goods demand
* Follow-up as required with all teams to expedite flow of materials and documents to meet production schedule and customer expectation
* May be asked to perform other duties at a lower level or higher level of proficiency
* Send pick notes to third-party store
* Create delivery notes for dispatches
* Create box labels for production
* Packaging – internally and externally
* Create goods receipts
* Maintain daily/weekly/monthly KPI’s
* Uphold all polices in relation to health, Safety and Welfare
Successful candidate must have experience in similar role and be proactive and innovative. Attention to details and positive ‘can do’ attitude is essential. Must have also good written and verbal communication skills.
Working shifts and hours
* Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm (35hours/week) – including 1 hour
Pay rate :
* £25000-£28000 DOE
Due to nature of the business, interviews will be held on site.
No WFH allowance on the role.
