Job Opportunity: Paint Sprayer

Location: Cheltenham

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday from 07:30 AM to 04:00 PM, with an early finish at 12:30 PM on Fridays

Salary: £24,000 - £27,000 DOE

Job Duties:

Production:

Follow technical paint instructions/processes meticulously
Meet production targets consistently
Apply prime finish and top finish coatings proficiently
Load/unload components efficiently
Perform associated paint/processing functions/processes diligentlyCommunicating:

Demonstrate initiative in problem-solving
Report unresolved issues promptly to the line manager
Share technical knowledge with team members
Participate in external audits (e.g., Nadcap, BSI, customers) and internal process improvement programsKnowledge and Understanding:

Read and interpret engineering drawings and documents accurately
Familiarity with AS9100/Nadcap standards
Knowledge of first-off inspection procedures
Basic spraying skills are required, with training provided as necessary; attention to detail is crucialCompliance:

Adhere strictly to production, safety, and quality procedures
Complete daily compliance checks meticulouslyExperience/Knowledge:

Understanding of AS9100 and, where applicable, Nadcap
Numerical proficiency
Experience in aerospace/automotive paint spraying with knowledge of paint application proceduresPersonal Attributes/Other Requirements:

Ability to work accurately with keen attention to detail
Strong communication and organisational skillsGeneral Responsibilities:

Compliance with company policies, especially Quality and Health and Safety procedures
Uphold and contribute to high standards
Willingness to undertake equivalent duties and responsibilities as part of a team
