Senior Structural Engineer / Stress Engineer
ARCA is partnered with a business that are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer / Stress Engineer on a contract basis.
The Role:
The ideal candidate will be skilled in stress analysis of full vehicle or component systems using FEA and hand calculations. Incorporating knowledge in surfacing, composite structures, manufacturing support, including jigs and fixtures to aid smooth build and assembly of components.
You will need be prepared to take on a wide range of challenges and responsibilities across multiple streams of work in a fast-moving environment, including:
• Performing structural analysis using FEA and hand calculations on composite and metallic parts and assembly
• Optimisation of design for mass reduction
• Design process from a structural perspective
• Hypermesh and Optistruct would be preferred, if not something similar
Role: Senior Structural Engineer / Stress Engineer
Duration: 3-6 months (initial)
Location: Bristol (remote / hybrid)
Rate: £45 p/h
