As a Food Technology Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the culinary talents of the students. Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver dynamic food technology lessons that inspire creativity, innovation, and a love for cooking.
Provide hands-on instruction in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety protocols in our state-of-the-art culinary facilities.
Integrate principles of nutrition, sustainability, and food entrepreneurship into the curriculum, preparing students for careers in the culinary industry.
Assess student progress through practical demonstrations, written assignments, and culinary competitions, providing constructive feedback to support their growth and development.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects, culinary events, and community partnerships that enrich the learning experience.
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel empowered to explore, experiment, and take risks in the kitchen.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your own culinary skills and pedagogical practices.
Uphold the values and ethos of the school, promoting a culture of respect, collaboration, and lifelong learning.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts, Food Science, Education, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
Proven experience teaching culinary arts, food technology, or related subjects at the secondary level, with a passion for inspiring students.
Strong culinary skills and knowledge of industry trends, techniques, and best practices.
Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Creativity, adaptability, and a growth mindset to meet the diverse needs of students.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement.
