Mechanical Supervisor

Introduction:

Our client, a leading company in the Rail sector, is currently seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Supervisor to join their team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to an important project in the industry - Birmingham New Street.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Overseeing and assisting with the installation of systems such as HVAC, smoke clearance, carpark ventilation or staircase pressurisation systems.
Carrying out isolation's and generating safety documents e.g. PTW, LOA etc.

Job Requirements

Experience as a Mechanical Authorised Person.
Valid Mechanical Authorised Person training to MOD JSP 375 or similar
NVQ Level 3 in relevant Mechanical subject e.g. pipefitter, HVAC, etc
Valid SMSTS
Valid 1day first aid training
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
Demonstrated ability to analyze technical information, write comprehensive reports, and make informed recommendations.
Flexibility to work day and night shifts as required by project demands.
