Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a CNC Machinist in Blackburn. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for day-to-day machine operations predominantly on a CNC 2-axis Turning Centre as well as 3 and 5 axis routers. The role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to ensure accurate and high-quality production.
Desirable Skills and Knowledge
* Machine Operation, Machining strategies, and adjusting tooling offsets.
* Experience in programming using Fanuc controls.
* Experience in using precise measuring equipment to ensure high-quality standards are met.
* Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Experience in the plastic industry is a plus
* Apprenticeship in machining or related fields

Hours
40.5 Hours per week
8am - 5pm Monday to Thursday
8am - 3pm Friday
Salary
£27-30K DOE
