KS1 Teaching Assistant
We are recruiting for a KS1 Teaching Assistant for a Primary School in Sale to support a child on a one to one basis.This is a long-term position starting as soon as possible.

This KS1 Teaching Assistant job will involve providing 1:1 support to a Year 1 child who requires assistance in overcoming barriers to learning in order to achieve their true potential. This KS1 Teaching Assistant role will involve keeping the child on task and ensuring that the work they are set is being done to a good standard. You will confidently possess excellent behaviour management skills and work successfully with the child to ensure they are fulfilling their learning expectations.
This KS1 Teaching Assistant job is full-time and the working hours will be 08:30am- 15:30pm Monday to Friday, with a 30 minute lunch break.
The job is to start as soon as possible and will continue until Friday 19th July 2024 with a possible chance of extension.

Your role & responsibilities:
* Encourage the child to overcome learning barriers
* Work closely with the child to they are achieving their full potential
* To be Inspirational and highly effective in the classroom
* To be Passionate about enabling every child to fulfil their potential
Non-negotiables:
* Have either a relevant childcare qualification Level 2 or Level 3 or above
* Recent experience supporting children in either an education, social care, nursery, community/youth role, college/university placement or any volunteer roles.
* Be able to display excellent verbal communication as well as the ability to actively listen.
* Two suitable references covering the last 2 years.
