Position Overview

With the primary focus on operational technology and automation systems, this role calls for a specialist who can progress our client's capabilities within their manufacturing sites. Streamlining their manufacturing systems, your work will enable smoother, more efficient operations. You will play a vital part in implementing and coordinating software and hardware enhancements, directly impacting the consistent high-quality output the company is renowned for.

Responsibilities

* Overseeing automation and control systems projects within manufacturing operations.

* Collaborating with other teams for the seamless implementation of new software and hardware

* Enabling maintenance, system integrators, and plant operations teams to achieve their objectives

* Ensuring all procedures comply with corporate directives

* Actively fostering a healthy, safe work environment

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Industrial Automation

* Prior experience and/or certification in areas like Ignition, Kepware, PLC programming

* Strong problem-solving abilities

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

* Solid knowledge and practical understanding of electrical safety training programs

* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively
