Manager Risk Management & ESG - Madrid, Spain - J12762 - Competitive Salary (DOE)
An exciting opportunity to join an independent consulting firm specialising in finance, risk and strategy and with extensive global experience and industry recognition in the financial services. The role is to strengthen their consulting team with an entrepreneurial and dynamic leader to Manager a team. Expertise required:-
Minimum of 6 years of experience in Credit risk Management Consulting or banking and financial services industry
2 years experience of climate risk and sustainability in banking and financial services with ESG projects related to:oIntegration of ESG in strategy, bank steering, credit process and risk management
oClimate Risk Stress Testing
oCalculation of emissions (PACTA)
oDevelopment of Decarbonization targets (SBTi / PACTA)
oPreparation of regulatory disclosure (Pillar 3) or non-financial reporting
Knowledge of current regulatory requirements relating to ESG (in particular ECB Guide on Climate and Environmental Risk, EU-Taxonomy, NFRD/CSRD, EBA guideline on Pillar 3 reporting - Green Asset Ratio) as well as other frameworks (TCFD, ISSB, Sustainable Finance)
Quantitative background with strong analytical skills and an interest in quantitative topics
Proficiency in Excel; nice-to-have: R, Python and knowledge of their uses in the work environment
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
Ability to work independently and to quickly familiarise with new topics, understand, structure and derive innovative solutions
Fluent in English and Spanish (incl. the ability to write professional reports) openess to travel
