Cook/Chef – 31.5 hours p/w - £13.19ph (paid breaks) – Dunstable
A state-of-the-art, luxury care home in Dunstable requires an enthusiastic and highly motivated Cook as a vital part of the care home team.
This is a permanent position, with fantastic opportunities for career progression. You will work a constant shift pattern (3 on, 3 off, 8am – 5pm), achieving a higher than average rate of pay and excellent company benefits.
Role Responsibilities:
* Helping to plan and prepare a variety of meals which are appealing, nutritious and centred around residents’ preferences, requests and dietary requirements
* Working with the Kitchen Manager to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen
Requirements:
* A brilliant positive energy and natural ability to get along with people
* Able to manage your time effectively
* Highly motivated and have excellent communication skills
* Respectful of all residents as individuals, ensuring that their personal choices and preferences are respected
* Able to comply with and ensure implementation of safety policies /procedures, COSHH and Fire procedures are met
