Our client is a leading Tier 1 American Main Contractor (turnover circa $1Bn). They have an urgent requirement for a Planner/Scheduler to work within their busy Data Centre division based in Chicago and overseeing projects to $100m ++ Nationwide across the States.

As a Planner/Scheduler, your responsibilities would include:
Primavera P6
You will be involved in the Planning of projects, you will be responsible for reading and understanding bid documents (schedule-related contractual requirements, drawings and specifications) etc
Identify unplanned events (new changes/ unforeseen conditions) and incorporate their impacts into the schedule
Develop as-built versus as-planned schedules to provide a manageable “snapshot” comparison of the project schedule
You will be responsible for working with the project team to create the Baseline Schedule
Reporting on the status of active projects assigned to you, and occasionally for generating specific reports for project teams.
Attending and participating in internal project review meetings
You will provide support to project teams by developing micro work schedules, what-if scenarios, Time-Impact-Analysis (TIA) schedules as required etc
