Social Media Videographer/Photographer (Contractor)

Canopy is a company with a unique mission, solving the large and growing problem of theft from vehicles. With our patented cutting-edge AI technologies, we are determined to provide peace of mind to the millions with items in their vehicles that are vulnerable to theft. 
We are looking to work with an experienced photographer/videographer to shoot and edit social media and marketing content. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of social media content and stays up-to-date on creative trends on Instagram and TikTok.
LOCATION: Metro Detroit Area or Michigan. (Photo shoots will need to be onsite)
Requirements
One photo/video shoot per month for six months. Shoot will be in the Detroit area and will last between 3-5 hours. 
Before the shoot, photographer will receive video and photo concepts from the Social Media Manager along with location, prop, and talent info. Review the concepts, and come to the shoot prepared. 
Editing content. Each shoot will produce 3-5 videos and 3-5 photos for social media. Most videos will be under 30 seconds. 
Maintaining a consistent turnaround time. Our ideal turnaround for final deliverables is one week from the shoot, but can be a little flexible on the timeline.

This is a contractor position and no medical benefits will be offer.
Contract Term: 6 month
Hourly Rate Range: $50 - $60 per hour
