We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As a Travel LPN at NCG Associates, you will have the opportunity to explore new locations while providing high-quality care to patients in various healthcare settings.
Responsibilities
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the registered nurse or physician
Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans
Provide basic nursing care, including wound dressing, catheter care, and vital signs monitoring
Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating
Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed records
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care
Educate patients and their families on effective self-care techniques
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with healthcare standards
Stay updated with current nursing practices and participate in professional development activities
Requirements
Active and unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice
Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an LPN
Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) and other healthcare software
Knowledge of nursing principles and practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational and time management skills
Flexibility to adapt to different healthcare environments and travel to various locations
BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
Willingness to comply with all travel assignments and requirements

Pay Rate: $1,240@40hrs weekly
Desired Start Date: ASAP
Length of Assignment: 10 weeks
Hours per Week: 40
Shift and Time: Afternoon 2:45pm-11:15pm
Requirements: Every other weekend required
License Required: LPN Compact License
Certificates Required: BLS
