An opportunity for an Interim Global Associate Medical Director to join an industry leading Biotechnology company based in Munich, Germany. The Interim Associate Medical Director will be tasked with providing medical expertise and leadership to the Global Medical Affairs and commercial teams as well as spearheading the execution of specific projects relating to pancreatic cancer. This is a 12 month, full time and remote opportunity. You will be required to travel to site from time to time (estimated 2 days a month).
The Interim Associate Medical Director will be:
Creating and implementing a medical strategy for the utilization of data generated by the company’s preclinical and clinical studies in pancreatic cancer.
Acting as the Medical Affairs representative and medical expert.
Working closely with Medical Information specialists on the development of medical information letters and documents
Supporting with the preparation of manuscripts, abstracts, and presentations for scientific meetings.
The Interim Associate Medical Director will have:
Experience working Globally; ability to work effectively with colleagues from a myriad of cultures, backgrounds, and geographies
A strong leadership presence and the ability to work effectively with other clinical and scientific leaders
Proven oncology experience and well as other therapeutic areas
Experience and understanding of drug development
PhD or Medical degree with oncology background
Your position in this role will entail cross-functional collaboration with medical communications, medical affairs operations, medical information, MSLs, commercial, regulatory, clinical development and safety.
