Cloud & Database Engineer Personalized Computational Genomics We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our Personalized Computational Genomics team as an HPC and Cloud Infrastructure Engineer. If you are passionate about implementation of personalized medicine and want to contribute to the development of innovative personalized cancer therapies and vaccines, we invite you to apply for this exciting position. Lead the implementation and configuration of scalable AWS infrastructure, including compute and storage configurations Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to establish seamless interfaces for data acquisition from sequencing facilities, public data sources, and clinical samples Migrate existing pipelines, ensuring version control, and addressing potential challenges such as data volume and environment dependencies Develop and maintain both production and development environments, integrating and working with critical tools like Nextflow, Conda, and Matlab Automate processes, containerize applications, and expand interfaces to foster a dynamic and efficient computational ecosystem supporting research teams Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or related field Minimum of 3 years of experience in HPC and cloud infrastructure management Strong knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience, including AWS Parallel Server, VPC networking, S3, EC2, RDS, EFS Strong knowledge of AWS Cloud resources management and optimization Strong knowledge of Terraform and containerization technologies (Docker/Singularity) Experience with SLURM and workflow management systems (Nextflow) Proficient in scripting languages (Python, SQL) Experience with version control systems (Github) Excellent communication and collaboration skills Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Flexible Working Time Mobile Office Work from EU Countries Company Pension Scheme Childcare Jobticket Company Bike Leave Account Fitness Courses and much more.
