Hearing Impaired Teaching assistant
I am current recruiting for a 2-form entry school in Northampton, who would like to appoint a Teaching assistant to work with a child who is profoundly deaf.
The ideal candidate:
* experience of working with hearing impaired children
* able to work within a small team
* able to support teaching and learning
* ability to change resources as needed by the learner
* awareness of BSL (British Sign Language)
The school:
* small community focused school
* supportive environment
* PPA time to prepare resources and meeting time for keyworkers
* offer further training
