HV Project Manager
We have been developing and maintaining Infrastructure across the UK, Ireland, and Europe over the last 30 years. We specialise in Utilities (Power/Telecoms), Civil Engineering and Infrastructure and have built our business on a foundation of expertise, teamwork and providing quality turnkey solutions for our clients that exceed expectations.
Continuing our upward trajectory and continuous pipeline of secured contracts, we are planning to expand and invest across all teams in the coming months. Presently, we require an experienced Project manager to join our site team to work across a diverse range of projects.
Role Description
Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the standards, policies and procedures and its customers.
Manage multiple and/or major projects safely, competently, and effectively to time and budget.
Manage all financial aspects of projects.
Ensure extra work is costed and invoiced.
Provide cost value reconciliation for projects/contracts.
Ensure all sub-contracts are approved in line with our company's policies.
Ensure project meets all current legislation HASAWA, NRSWA C.O.S.H.H. etc.
Assist in costing schemes for quotation as required.
Identify and inform SMT of commercial opportunities as appropriate.
Review and monitor programme schedule using Project Management tools.
Qualifications
Degree or equivalent in Qualification in a Construction related subject with relevant industry experience.
Hold a clean driving license.
Experience working High Voltage projects
NRWSA or SMSTS desirable but not required
Motivated and driven personality who has a collaborative approach to work.
5 years experienced in managing large/multiple projects, Previous experience of utility schemes is essential.
Sound project management skills and methodology and good people management skills.
Computer literate – skilled in use of Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Project.
Sound knowledge of H&S and its practical implications.
Knowledge of CDM regulations.
Knowledge of HAUC
