Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for analysing project specifications and requirements to determine accurate cost estimates. You will play a crucial role in ensuring cost control and profitability for our projects.
Responsibilities:

* Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to understand project requirements
* Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and prepare accurate cost estimates
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes
* Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options
* Prepare and submit comprehensive bid proposals in a timely manner
* Maintain a database of historical cost data for future reference
* Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and provide regular reports to management
* Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as required
My client is a roofing, cladding, metal fabrication specialists covering London, and all surrounding areas. Same team from design to completion, whether it be the full roofing and cladding package, over cladding a building, maintenance and refurbishment work, finishing and flashing works, pre-fabricated aluminium fascia and soffits, single ply membrane systems, liquid waterproofing systems and green roofing to over-cladding an existing building
Qualifications:

* Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
* Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques
* Proficient in using estimating software and tools
* Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
* Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Cladding, Metal and Flat Roofing experience required
