Science Teacher - Sunderland
Location: Sunderland
Salary: £150 - £200 per day
Start Date: ASAP
GSL Education is currently looking for an inspirational Science Teacher to join a dynamic department in a secondary school in Sunderland. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about science and committed to providing high-quality teaching to students across Key Stages 3 to 5.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and informative science lessons that meet the curriculum requirements.
Foster a positive learning environment that stimulates curiosity and enthusiasm for science among students.
Assess and evaluate students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
Participate in and contribute to the school’s science department, including curriculum planning and development.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Science or related subject.
Experience teaching science across Key Stages 3 to 5.
A strong understanding of the science curriculum and current educational practices.
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students.
