Mechanical Design Engineer, SolidWorks

We are representing a leader in providing turn-key solutions, supplying to industries such as Oil and Gas, Subsea, Nuclear, Chemical, and Petrochemical, who pride themselves on our innovative approach and global footprint.
We’re Hiring: As they expand, they're on the hunt for a dedicated Mechanical Design Engineer to spearhead both new and existing projects. Your role will be pivotal in designing cutting-edge machinery, control systems, and equipment, ensuring alignment with client and industry standards.
Your Impact:
* Design and development of bespoke machinery products, including components, full client specification, and more.
* Collaborate closely with Customers, Sales, Procurement, and Manufacturing teams, providing critical updates, and facilitating design reviews.
* Support through commissioning/build phases, answering queries related to assembly, operation, and testing.
* Contribute to continuous improvement in line with our Quality Management System (QMS).
What You Bring:
* Proficiency in 2D & 3D CAD modelling & Drafting (SolidWorks preferred).
* Hands-on experience in design analysis, value engineering, and document management systems (SolidWorks).
* BEng or BSc (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, with a strong portfolio of design engineering within bespoke systems/machine design and manufacture.
