We are recruiting for Internal Sales Coordinator based in our Glasgow facility to deal with all customer enquiries and purchase orders received in an efficient, effective and professional manner, whilst following Company procedures, the customer specifications, the availability, delivery and the potential increase in sales of Company products and services.

About the Role:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* To deal with and process all customer enquiries in a timely and courteous manner providing accurate information.

* To ensure full compliance and understanding of the Company’s ERP system

* To liaise with other departments and branches with regard to product availability ,delivery times or product assembly or manufacture.

* To liaise with the engineering department for specific engineering queries on design or type.

* To issue quotations in line with Company pricing and discount structure by either Frame Agreements, customer specific agreements or as per the department procedures for product pricing or discount models.

* To ensure that costs for additional services such as freight and essential overtime costs are advised and agreed by the customer in advance where immediate service is required.

* To take advantage of all opportunities to advise customers on product ranges or alternatives which are acceptable for the purpose to which they are used or that may be of interest to their business.

* To ensure that all customer orders are reviewed to confirm compliance with the quotation and that all obligations and commitments can still be achieved.

* To advise customer of any changes to product, delivery/part delivery immediately.

* To ensure that all customer orders are entered into the ERP system in a timely and accurate manner with sufficient information to allow down stream departments to complete the work.

* To ensure a satisfactory customer care and after sales service with full compliance on customer requirements.

* To wherever possible develop and maintain a good customer relationship in order to maximize and increase the company sales, products and services capability.

* To adhere to any duty Rota which may be in force e.g. Public Holidays.

About You:

You will come from an Internal Sales environment, ideally with experience in Hose assembly or Hydraulic systems. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ideally an NVQ Level 2 in Customer Service.

Applicants with a working knowledge of Hydrasun products and a strong understanding of an ERP system are preferred.

Essential Experience, Qualifications and Competencies

* Standard Grade Qualifications in Arithmetic and English Language

* Experienced in an Internal Sales environment

* Excellent, proven, written and verbal communications skills

* Ability to work as an effective Team Player

* Able to maintain strong customer focus

* Ability to use Computer software packages, including Word / Excel, competently

* Proven negotiating skills

* Motivated, Flexible “can do” approach to work.

Desirable Experience, Qualifications and Competencies

* A formal qualification in selling techniques and methods

* Experience in a sales environment in hose assembly or hydraulic systems

* NVQ Level 2 in Customer Service

* A good working knowledge of Hydrasun products

* A good understanding of ERP System.
