Job Title - Reliability Engineer
Rate - up to £45,000
Shift - Monday - Friday
FMCG/Manufacturing
Synergi are recruiting for a Reliability Engineer to join one of the leading Food Manufacturers within their sector. This is the chance to join a company whose products can be found in most supermarkets in the UK. Successful Reliability Engineer would be joining an experienced team of Maintenance Engineers with a vast amount of experience.
Responsibilities of a Reliability Engineer:
Focusing on increasing current line OEE levels and implementing Line Improvements based on removal of repeat breakdowns and better line availability to Operations.
To have deep dives into reoccurring issues, removing current roadblocks in increasing machine availability.
PPMs, Preventative, Predictive and Corrective maintenance.
Support any installations of new machinery and trials.
Reducing line changeover times and assistance in training for autonomous maintenance.
Assist the production engineers in breakdowns if their workload exceeds their capacity due to workload or availability due to Holidays or sickness.
Supporting Project Engineers on installation, final execution, ramp up and hand over to production.
Any additional duties relevant to the position deemed by Management.
What We're Looking for In You:
A conscientious and hard-working individual that can work with the Engineering Maintenance team.
Work in a team environment or on their own building good communications with operations and the Maintenance Planner to assist the wider Engineering team.
Proactively work on increasing line availability through reduced change over times, removal of repeat breakdowns, implementing improvements in PPMs, Preventative and corrective maintenance.
Writing one-page instructions online to recover from breakdowns and lessons learned, increasing line OEE and helping in sourcing parts from suppliers.
Skills Required for a Reliability Engineer:
