An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Facilities Management team for an Operations Manager to work within our Asset Management department at Stratford.

The Role

The Facilities Management team support the business and are responsible for maintaining 134 stations and a variety of assets. You will be joining an innovative team that is focused on great standards and service. As part of the team you will play an important part in innovating and driving new ways of working and creating processes that will become the benchmark in the industry.

This is a permanent Senior Management role with hybrid working which requires an experienced individual who has proven experience working within a high-performing team. A highly analytical mindset as well as the ability to work at a fast pace during busy periods is a must, as well as strong interpersonal skills with stakeholders at all levels. Additionally, the successful application would possess a good eye for detail, patience and understanding and ideally a knowledge of working within the rail industry. Exposure to project management and building knowledge will be ideal for candidates who are ready to join an exciting team in this newly created role.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate would have experience in the railway however it is not essential. Applicants without Railway experience will also be considered. Leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively is needed in this role. The Operations Manager will be responsible for coordinating with various stakeholders. Additionally, candidates should have problem-solving abilities and the ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
