Pump Service Engineer
Location: Gloucester, Gloucestershire
Hours: Full time | Permanent
Salary: Up to £34,000 DOE
Our client is looking for a Pump Service Engineer to join their growing team!
Reporting to the head of Service Engineering, you will liaise with customers to book in service jobs and ensure all customer requirements are met to a high standard. The ideal candidate will have experience of working on sewage pumps or wastewater pumps.
Key Responsibilities of a Pump Service Engineer
* Carry out rick assessments for each job undertaken.
* Liaise with customers to ensure requirements are met.
* Raise any service concerns to your line manager.
* Liaise with your line manager and scheduling department to book in services.
* Ensure customers are kept informed of service scheduling.
* Carry out monthly stocktakes.
* Maintain excellent product knowledge and provide feedback on parts.
Key Skills of a Pump Service Engineer
* Mechanical and electrical knowledge.
* Previous sewage or wastewater pump service experience.
* Recognised Mechanical or Engineering Qualification(s).
* Ability to identify faults and provide solutions.
* Excellent communication and time keeping skills.
* Customer service skills
