Electrician – The Company
Foresight Search are working with a rapidly growing full-service infrastructure contractor who are seeking qualified Electricians to work on a successful Street Lighting / smart motorway contract. From managing over 1 million street lights, to rolling out EV charging points, the comopany have an important role to play in connecting, sustaining and renewing critical infrastructure in the region.
Electrician – The role:
In a typical day, you could expect to be;
* Installing and maintaining street lighting apparatus and furniture, this could be street lights, signposts or signs
* Taking part in diagnosing faults, and fixing faulty equipment if needed
* Changing, maintaining and testing of equipment to prevent any future issues
* Ensuring we deliver outstanding service to our clients and the general public
* Operating a mobile elevated working platform
* Working to strict safety guidelines and regulations.
Electrician – The Person:
* You will have an electrical background and will have completed an apprenticeship achieving an NVQ Level 3 along with AM2, City and Guilds 2391 qualifications
* It would be a benefit if you have a good knowledge of the 18th Edition
* We work in all weathers! So you need to be the type of person who is happy working outdoors all year round.
* A lot of this role will be working up high, so you need to be comfortable with working in a ‘cherry picker’ and dealing with heights.
* We do need you to have a full UK Driving Licence as you will cover a wide range of locations
