My client, based near Cardiff, is looking to recruit an experienced Software Development Manager with a strong technical background working with the Microsoft .Net stack (C#, ASP.Net, SQL Server) along with knowledge of Python, React & AWS, for a permanent position.
Reporting to the Product Director this role will have responsibility for an onsite development team of up to 6 colleagues as well as liaising closely with an offshore development function. The postholder with be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the development team, ensuring coding standards are met, performance targets are achieved and mentor, coach & develop team members to fulfil career aspirations.
My client has a number of major projects in the pipeline and there will be scope to get involved with these when they come onstream. The role is primarily office based with one day per week working from home. The offices are based North of Cardiff and there is onsite parking along with a local train station. The interview process will consist of an initial phone/video call rapidly followed by a face-to-face interview.
