Links Recruitment Group present a great opportunity for a Production Operatives to join a well-established, growing and leading manufacturer based in Magor to work as an operative and work a days based role with lots of opportunity to increase earnings through overtime. This role is a permanent position providing stability and long-term opportunity. This role is in the Steel/Manufacturing/Construction industry. As they continue to grow, we are seeking dynamic and experienced individuals to join their team.
In this role, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing team, contributing to the assembly of steel products, involving equipment, conducting quality checks and collaborating with team members to ensure efficient production processes.
Main Duties
* Working within the steel frame assembly area
* Reading 2D and 3D drawings.
* Y-Wall sawing area
* CP boarding area
* Using power tools (drills, ratchet guns, grinders, torque wrenches, etc)
* Loading and unloading goods
* Assembling large panels and steel frames
* Perform assembly tasks according to established procedures and quality standards
* Operate power tools and hand tools to complete assembly tasks
* Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
* Inspect finished products for quality assurance
* Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
The Person
* Experience in the Steel/Construction Industry or similar in a Production Operative role
* Experience and knowledge of using hand tools (spanners, screwdrivers, etc)
* Capable of heavy lifting and moving material
* Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
* Have previous experience of assembling larger panels/equipment/other types of machines or construction assembling is preferred.
Shift Pattern – days based role – 6am-3pm Mon-Thursday – Friday 6am-12:30pm
