I am working with a reputable client based in Leighton Buzzard (LU7) who require a professional Fleet Controller. The position is a permanent role paying up to £32k + Benefits DOE.
Working Hours: Mon - Fri (8am - 5:30pm)
1 in 4 Working Sat (8am - 12pm)
The ideal candidate will have a strong background / industry knowledge within hire fleet. You will be completing general maintenance of the fleet and equipment. This would include double decker’s, curtainsiders, box trailers and trucks. In addition, you will be taking calls for breakdowns and liaising with engineers to schedule, plan and coordinate them in a timely manner. You will also have impeccable attention to detail and be well organised to maintain documents for Road Tax and MOT for all vehicles. It’s imperative that you have some knowledge of HGV Mechanics. It would be advantageous if you have authorised vehicle warranties and approved repair costs within a commercial setting, but this is not essential as some training can be provided.
