About the Role:
Twenty4Seven Education is seeking a dedicated and skilled School Caretaker to join a prestigious private school in Ashford, Surrey. This permanent role is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong background in building maintenance and/or trades to contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of a historic educational institution.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operational management of the school estate.
* Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and security of the school premises, providing a safe environment for all users.
* Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks and address any building issues promptly.
* Site Supervision: Assume the responsibilities of the Site Manager in their absence, maintaining high standards of site supervision and resource utilisation.
* Enhancing Learning Environment: Contribute to the enhancement of the learning environment for students and staff.
* Day to day security of school site
Requirements:
* Experience: Proven background in building maintenance and/or a trade.
* Driving Licence: Ideally, possess a clean driving licence.
* Skills: Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Commitment: A proactive attitude towards maintaining high standards in a school environment.
