Job Duties:

Provide individualised academic support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) studying for their GCSEs
Create and implement tailored lesson plans to meet the specific needs of each student
Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development
Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements
Required Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience working with students with SEN
Strong understanding of the GCSE curriculum
Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field

Experience:

At least 2 years of experience as a tutor or teacher working with SEN students

Knowledge and Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of different learning styles and strategies
Preferred Qualifications:

Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
Experience using assistive technology to support learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
