Our client, a growing packaging manufacturer are looking to recruit a number of print finishers to their team.

Finishing refers to any process that occurs after a printing material has been printed on a press, and before a printed product is sent to the customer.

For label and flexible packaging printing, finishing includes critical steps slitting, rewinding, and inspection. Other processes can include cutting, packaging, sequential numbering and most importantly of all visual quality control.

You will take the final printed rolls and performs the final quality control and finishing functions, preparing the roll to Customer Packing Specifications for final shipment to the customer.

Key Skills:

* Good understanding of print, communication skills, good organizational skills.

* Operate a fork lift Truck (Training can be provided after 3 month employment)

* Perform rewind / dispatch duties in an efficient, professional and courteous manner

* Proficient use of Microsoft Office l.

* Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors.

* Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role.

* Maintain consistent attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to relevant health & safety procedures.

These positions are permanent. After an initial period on Days for training, you will be expected to work a shift system.

Week 1 6am - 2pm Monday to Thursday, and 6am - 12:45 on a Friday

Week 2 2pm - 10pm Monday to Thursday and 12:45pm to 7:30pm on a Friday

Week 3 10pm - 6am Sunday to Thursday.

In return you can expect a salary of £24k - £28k plus the opportunity of ongoing development.
