Senior Authorised Person

The Role

A Project Engineer (Senior Authorised Person) is required to carry out High Voltage Operations on DNO and customer owned private networks. The activities will include High Voltage switching, issuing of safety documentation and setting Industrial colleagues to work to facilitate the progression of maintenance, fault repair, network alterations and new network construction works.

The role you’d play

* Switching on High Voltage networks (both DNO and privately owned networks)

* Issuing of safety documents on High Voltage networks (both DNO and privately owned networks)

* Plan and deliver High Voltage works on DNO owned networks

* Plan and deliver High Voltage works on customer owned private networks

* Acting as a Control Engineer on private networks

* Standby cover

What you’d bring

Must haves:

* Previous experience of working as a Senior Authorised Person on either DNO Networks or customer owned private networks.

* Previous experience of working on underground or overhead High Voltage networks.

* Previous experience of working to the Distribution Safety Rules

* Full UK driving license

Good to have:

* Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering

* HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering

* Previous experience on HV/EHV DNO and private networks

* IET registration (IEng/CEng)

* Commercial and operational responsibilities

ALL CANDIDATES MUST HAVE FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE AND HOLD BRITISH CITIZENSHIP
