Summary

GI Pro are working with an established engineering company in the North Nottingham area.

The role currently offers Night shifts 6pm - 6am working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

Rates of pay are £18.45 per hour for the night shift.

This is a full-time role and a temporary to permanent opportunity.

Company - Manufacturer for the construction industry

The role: Machinist

Operating an extrusion machine (training provided based on the canddiate having a machinery background and tranferrable skills)
Load the moulds, take out the products and put into stock.
Basic machine maintenance
Using hand and power tools

The Person: Machinist

Machinist will have experience working in a heavy steel or construction industry and be confident to run large machinery and use hand and power tools.
Extrusion machinery experience would be very advantageous for this role.
Ability to work from job lists and measure right amount of materials.
Following strict health and safety rules
