Job Description
In a time of unprecedented expansion, we are seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to join our Acquisition Marketing team. In this role, you will lead the Social Media team and drive the strategic direction of the department while overseeing Lakeshore’s unique brand identity. Reporting to the Director of Acquisition Marketing, you will be tasked with maintaining a consistent voice across all social media platforms—including but not limited to Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter and LinkedIn. The position also requires creating and implementing quarterly and annual strategic plans to increase engagement and brand awareness. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of developing, managing and leading social media marketing strategies, finding creative solutions to problems, and successfully implementing projects/initiatives across an organization. A day in the office looks like this: 
Developing, managing and leading all B2C and B2B social media marketing strategies, in partnership with the Social Media team 
Maintaining a high bar for content; thus ensuring that what is produced is on brand and consistent in terms of style, tone of voice and optimization—and also resonates with our key target audience of teachers and parents 
Partnering and collaborating with key internal stakeholders throughout the organization (e.g., Art, Creative, Paid Digital, Business Development, Merchandising, Purchasing, Customer Service) to implement social media strategies 
Analyzing and interpreting data to make informed decisions on future strategies and tactics 
Managing a Social Media Specialist, which includes setting and tracking their annual goals/KPIs, conducting weekly one-to-one meetings, overseeing their content calendar and delivering feedback 
Working alongside the Director to: provide routine insights and recommendations, support planning of the overarching Marketing team strategy, assist in aligning projects with company goals and report on team progress  
Partnering with an outsourced, external agency to set the strategy, budget and execution for all social media influencer campaigns 
Writing and submitting marketing briefs with extreme attention to detail, clear and precise direction, and strategically planned timelines 
Analyzing campaign performance and adjusting content as needed based on performance, conversion or other predetermined KPIs
