As an Administrative Assistant at Firetrol Protection Systems, you will work under the direction of the General Manager and Office Manager, performing various administrative functions to support the department's operations. Your responsibilities will include:
Answering phones and providing exceptional customer service to both technicians and customers
Reviewing vendor A/P invoices for accuracy, coding, and approvals, and entering them into the payables module
Scanning invoices and emailing them to the corporate office for payment
Resolving A/P issues and addressing reconciliation errors and omissions
Working with Microsoft Excel, Word, Great Plains software, and Service Trade
Assisting with maintaining inventory and performing other duties as assigned
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
Previous accounting experience preferred
Excellent organizational skills
Self-starter who can work well with direction and adapt to learning new things
Responsible, punctual, and a team player
Good computer skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
Ability to manage time and resources efficiently
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
