Electrical Estimator
My client is a well-established and reputable M&E Contractor based in the Nottingham. They have grown stronger year on year since being established over 30 years ago and are looking to recruit a competent and driven Electrical Estimator to start ASAP. They work across various sectors ranging from commercial, retail , education and health care + more.
As a Electrical Estimator, you will work within an established estimating team, working from initial design concept, through to the installation / handover.
Electrical Estimator - duties and responsibilities:
Review tender documents to ensure return is fully compliant and in line with all information
Carry out site surveys where necessary to mitigate risks of an existing site
Identify potential risks and opportunities to maximise the returns for the company
Complete tender documentation correctly to meet KPIs
Follow-up submitted tenders with clients
Involvement with any post tender meetings
Invite and collect quotations from sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure robust costs
Actively seek enquiries and invitations for potential projects and clients
Use software packages to produce Take off materials, quantities from drawings and plans
Handover projects to the contracts team to ensure that all internal parties understand the basis of the tender figures submitted.
Provide a knowledgeable and high proficiency of commercial acumen in all bids and quotations
Essential Skills / Qualifications
High level of attention to detail
Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
Excellent communication skills
Experience in an Electrical Estimator role (building services)
Knowledge of Electrical Design
Package - Competitive salary dependent on experience + Car or Allowance
