A design and manufactung company are looking to recruit an Electrical Technician to carry out the build and installation of production line equipment. The company are very well established and based in lovely purpose built premises in Basildon
What's on offer?
37.5 hours per week on flexitime basis
23 days holiday plus discretionary days and bank holidays

Pension scheme available after 3 months with company contribution of up to 8% after 2 years' service

Duties:
Carry out panel building, wiring and PLC programming
Liaise with other departments specialising in pneumatics, product handling and mechanical assembly
Occasionally carry out site installation work
Assist, where required, with other tasks within the Automation Department, such as physical wiring inspections, installation checks and machine testing
Carry out ad hoc factory maintenance
Requirements:
Electrical Engineering qualifications are required
Apprentice trained ideal
Familiarity with automated production machinery, controls and machine components essential
Ability to work with several types of cable management and knowledge of cable types including termination of electrical power and control cables in field mounted and panel mounted devices.
Must have an understanding of electrical wiring diagrams for component identification, cable terminations and differentiation from a panel device to a field mounted device, contactors, relays, and
Motors.
Must be willing to undertake overseas travel on occasion
